MCSHAPE runs on Pentium class processors. It has been tested under both OS Windows (several versions) and Linux.

A screen resolution of 1024x768 is preferable.

The folder with the physical data for the simulation requires about 800 MB, so we recommend at least 900 MB of free memory to install the program.

MCSHAPE v.2.60 has been compiled under Windows XP using INTEL Fortran v9,0 and Winteracter library v7.0e and under Linux using Intel FORTRAN version 9.0. for Linux and XWinteracter library v7.0e.
